Last week I had the pleasure of being invited along to Beef and Pudding‘s 2nd Birthday Brunch Bash in Manchester city centre. I’d always wanted to try Beef and Pudding since it’s launch as I used to work very close by, but had never got round to it. Doring Sushi Bar – Chorlton
I’m a big fan of sushi – so when I heard on the Chorlton grapevine that a new Japenese Sushi Bar had opened just up the road, I was over there before you could say sashimi. Unfortunately on my 1st visit, I forgot my camera. But my 2nd visit was very well documented Continue reading
After-Work Snacks: Kim By The Sea – Hulme
Kim By The Sea is a great little pit stop on my cycle home from work. Located just off Stretford Road, it’s an ideal place to take a quick rest – which is exactly what we did last week. Continue reading
De Nada – Chorlton
A firm favourite in my Chorlton dining circuit is De Nada. A South American cafe bar with a relaxed atmosphere, cosy surroundings, friendly staff – and some great artwork too.

Levenshulme Beer Fete
On the August bank holiday weekend a few of us went along to Levenshulme Beer Fete at The Klondyke Club, hosted by GRUB, Blackjack Brewery & Shebeen Events. We went on the Sunday, but it had been running since the Friday. Continue reading
Crazy Pedros Part-Time Pizza Parlour
I have a serious addiction to pizza.
Luckily for me and my buddy Kate there’s a crazy little pizza parlour called Pedros a stones throw away from our workplaces – so it’s the perfect after-work haunt to eat delicious pizza and drink amazing cocktails! Continue reading
The Manchester Egg
I’ve always been a fan of a nice scotch egg, you can’t beat them – tasty sausage meat, a rich soft yolk and crunchy breadcrumbs, they’re a belter of a snack. Continue reading
